Heart over Brain


Every woman wants to end up with their dream man, but, what usually happens is they end up with the man not even a half of what they dreamed of. Ever since we were just little girls, we love to watch fairytale movies or read fairytale books, hoping that someday we will meet our prince charming and just like in the story live happily ever after, but, none of this happens in real life, for this are fictions and we are all dealing with facts.
We meet a guy, we fall in love with him and his not even our ideal man. There are so many reasons why we fall in love with a person, sometimes we think we are in love with the person because he has the qualities every woman is looking for and we usually look at the physical qualities and as time passes by and you both got to know each other, you then on realize that his outside qualities is far different from his inside, then you start asking yourself "Is this the guy I wanted to be with? ", "Do I really love him?"
Another reason for falling in love with someone is because of his characteristics inside, he may not be physically attractive but he is the most beautiful person inside. To some people they would often make a joke on this, they say its called "true love" and make fun of it because they can't believe that a beautiful woman or a very handsome man would fall in love with a not so physically attractive person.
Our brain maybe above our heart but most of the time, our heart overrules our brain.
We should always remember that physical attributes fades but a loving person will always be a loving person.

A goodnight sleep


A lot of people are having trouble sleeping, and there are so many possible causes of insomnia, two of which is psychological and physical causes. Insomnia can be result of Anxiety, increased tension, worries or helplessness, financial worries or concerns over relationship, Stress is also one of the reason and so as depression Lack of sleep can cause this psychological problems. Hormonal changes in women such as premenstrual syndrome, pregnancy, menopause, pain, or genetics (problems in insomnia do seem to run in some families)are just some of the physical causes why a person is having hard time to sleep. Insomnia can also be caused by temporary events or factors. If your working night shift or long shifts ( those working in a call center, nurses, guards, etc.), if your under medication, overtaking of caffeine and alcohol. Though a glass or two of alcohol before going to bed helps a person relax but more than that can lead to uneven sleep or restlessness. Trouble sleeping can also be caused by your surroundings, the temperature, environmental noise.

Now, what are the possible things that we can do to have a goodnight sleep?
  • Regular exercise - 20-30 minutes of exercise everyday is a good to go
  • Take a warm bath before going to bed just leave your hair dry
  • A warm glass of milk
  • Make sure you have a comfortable bed, pillows, bedding, consider soft, breathable cotton sheets.
  • Keep your room dark during sleep hours
  • Make sure that you have adequate ventilation
  • Avoid caffeine, alcohol and too much liquid for it may result to frequent bathroom trips.
Now I believe you will have a good night sleep.

If you feel good! you look good!


When you wake up in the morning and you see yourself in the mirror, do you like what you see? or it depresses you? It is not because you don't look good but because you don't feel good. Try setting your alarm clock two hours before you leave from work in the morning, drag yourself out of bed, brush your teeth, comb your hair, wear your sweat suit and go jogging for 45 minutes to an hour, appreciate your surroundings and try smiling at people even if you don't know them and when you get home eat a light breakfast enough to last you until lunch and drink a lot of water. Try this everyday and you will feel good and lighter.
Now if you have an exhausting day and you feel tired, think about a thing or activity that sure makes you happy and relaxing. If your physically tired you can go to a massage parlor or have your nails done, pamper yourself or rent a good movie have some popcorn and lay down on your favorite couch. If your mentally tired try forgetting your problems for just an hour and do whatever you want as long as you don't bother other people.
If your watching television and you think that the new hairstyle of the model looks good on you try it, if you think that you would look fabulous on the new clothes you've seen on the magazine buy it! If you think you've been working your ass off for the last 4 weeks, treat yourself out for a drink in a bar, meet friends meet people and party like a rock star.Do anything that makes you feel good just as long as you have the money...
But you know what? I still believe in the saying that the best things in life are FREE! You can still enjoy and feel good without spending a penny, make use of the things you have your friends, your family, your loved ones, you can just lie on a couch and watch television and cuddle up with your someone special. You can get them for free and they are always the ones who would make you feel the most amazing and beautiful person in the world.

understanding mens mentality


They say men are superior than woman in a lot of things... maybe.??...Physically, most men are stronger than women, Emotionally? hmmm?? it depends cause some men are more sensitive than women but some says that most men are insensitive, well, I think I can explain that. Usually we women are very expressive, whenever we feel happy, sad, angry, frustrated, down or depressed we show it, we express it, it's hard for us to keep it. We women can't just keep our mouth shut! We are very vocal of our emotions, if we love the person we say it, it feel like kissing them or hugging them we do it, and we soooo love confrontations! Men on the other hand are different, we often ask these questions "Whats wrong with him?" "Why are men so insensitive?" " why is it they do not know how to express their emotions? actually, truth of the matter is, according to studies, there is something missing in the parts of the brain of men, we women are complete, that's why we can easily express our emotions in any way we can. In terms of relationship when our man says he loves us, he really loves us, he may not say it too often or show it the way we want them to show it just like in the soap opera or romantic movies that we often watch, but they really do love us. Think about those times they made extra effort to make us smile or make us happy, those times that we were surrounded by problems and they are doing everything they can to help us, the times when they give up the most valuable event or their most valuable thing for us, it may not be the act of moving heaven and earth to show how much they love us or promising moon and stars for us, but they love us. Every time we need attention from them or every time we need them to express or show their love for us and they cannot fulfill our expectations just remember and understand that there is something missing in the parts of their brain.

Lets get physical

How can one be physically fit? easy as 1 2 3.. You just need one goal "love life"! How do we begin? Learn to love yourself first ooops... not to the extent that you will overly love yourself that all you would care about is just "yourself " and forget other people. Give yourself the exact amount of love it needs to become a better person. Let us first get physical, how do we take care of our physical gift from God?
How do we take care f our health? of course regular exercise is always the number first answer, and it always does work and there are so many forms of exercises such as aerobics, dancing, jogging, swimming or any sports, shopping or even just cleaning your room. Sex is even a good exercise, as long as your moving and sweating your halfway to a healthy body. Now whats usually the second answer? The food we eat, it should be healthy foods. What are those healthy foods? we learned this during our elementary school days..GO, GLOW and GROW foods!Fruits vegetables, milk, lots of water and as much as possible stay away from processed foods, or oily foods..and junk foods..yes its hard to resist temptation cause those are really the most delicious ones and it's not bad to give in sometimes or be tempted at times, but just don't make it a habit for you might regret it at the end. Chocolates, ice cream, cake, fries, burger, hotdog hmmmm.... soooo love it! sooo tempting! but once too much...regretting.. don't deprive yourself for those delicious foods just remember the "too much of something is bad" Now lets talk about skin. How to take care of your skin? Water! water! lots of water and enough sleep (7-8 hours of sleep) makes your skin glowing and naturally healthy and if you have time take a nap in the afternoon, stay away from oily foods such as nuts and chocolates they cause "pimples". If you are a physically fit person, you will have strong immune system, which would keep you away from hospital bills, you will definitely feel lighter and lovable. Another note to remember you don't do all of these for other people or to please other people, but you do this for yourself, to feel good and for you to become a better individual.
